The precise technical information collected depends on the services and technologies used by the website.

3. HOW WE USE APPLICATION INFORMATION

We use information submitted through the Become a Model form to:

• Review and assess applications.
• Contact applicants about their submissions.
• Discuss potential filming opportunities.
• Understand applicants’ experience, availability and professional preferences.
• Organise further communication with applicants who may be suitable for a production.
• Respond to questions and requests.
• Maintain records where necessary for legitimate business, administrative or legal purposes.

Submitting an application does not create an employment relationship, guarantee participation in a production or constitute consent to any particular filming activity.

Any potential production, participation arrangements and scene-specific permissions are addressed separately.

4. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING

We process personal data only where an appropriate legal basis applies.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement, complying with legal obligations, pursuing legitimate business interests where permitted, or relying on your consent.

Certain application answers may contain special categories of personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Where processing such information requires explicit consent, we will request that consent separately.

Acknowledging that you have read this Privacy Policy is not, by itself, explicit consent to process special categories of personal data.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

We will explain any additional consent requirements at the relevant point in the application process.

5. HOW LONG WE KEEP PERSONAL DATA

We aim to retain application information only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

For applications that are not selected, our intended retention period is up to four weeks after the relevant selection process has ended.

If you separately agree that we may contact you about future opportunities, we may retain the relevant application information for up to one year, unless you withdraw your consent earlier.

Applications that remain genuinely under consideration may be retained while the selection process is ongoing.

Where an applicant enters into a production agreement, information required for contractual, accounting or legal purposes may be retained for a different period, as applicable.

We may also need to retain limited information where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

When personal data is no longer required, we will delete it or otherwise dispose of it securely.

6. WHO MAY HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR DATA

Application information is intended to be accessible only to persons who need it for the relevant application or production process.

We do not sell applicants’ personal data.

We do not publish application information or photographs merely because an application has been submitted.

Where necessary, personal data may be processed by service providers that support our website, email communications, hosting or other business operations.

Such providers should receive only the information necessary to perform their services and must be subject to appropriate data protection arrangements where required.

We may disclose information when legally required or where necessary to protect legal rights.

7. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Amstelmen operates from the Netherlands.

Some service providers or technical systems used in connection with the website may process personal data outside the European Economic Area.

Where an international transfer takes place, we will apply the safeguards required by applicable data protection law.

These may include an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards, depending on the destination and circumstances.

The specific transfer arrangements depend on the service providers actually used.

8. SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA

We take the protection of personal data seriously and aim to apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures.

These measures are intended to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.

Access to application information should be limited to authorised persons with a genuine need to process it.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Applicants should avoid submitting information that has not been requested or that is unnecessary for the application.

9. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Request restriction of certain processing activities.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Request data portability where the legal requirements apply.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You may exercise your rights by contacting:

We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request.

Certain rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

In the Netherlands, the supervisory authority is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

10. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to support its operation and, where applicable, provide additional functionality.

Some technologies may be necessary for the website to function correctly.

Other technologies, such as those used for analytics or marketing, may require your consent before they are activated.

The types of cookies used, their purposes and the available choices will be explained in our Cookie Policy.

Where consent is required, you should be able to make an appropriate choice before the relevant technologies are used.

11. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES

Our website may contain links to external websites, platforms or services.

These may include social media platforms, creator profiles and other third-party websites.

When you follow an external link, the third party may process your personal data under its own privacy policy.

We encourage you to review the privacy information of any external service you choose to use.

This Privacy Policy does not govern the independent processing activities of third-party websites.

12. INFORMATION ABOUT MINORS

Amstelmen is an adult entertainment project intended exclusively for adults.

Persons under the age of 18 must not apply to participate in productions.

We do not knowingly seek applications from minors.

If we become aware that an application has been submitted by a person under 18, we will take appropriate steps to stop processing the application and delete the information, unless limited retention is legally required.

Age and identity verification for potential performers is addressed separately as part of the relevant production process.

13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our website, application procedures, business operations or applicable legal requirements.

When changes are made, we will update the date shown at the beginning of this page.

Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent before introducing relevant changes to the processing of personal data.
